Mr + Mrs Blanding

They always talk about in the photography world how important it is to find your ideal client in the industry. Because that will take your work to a whole new level of awesome and fun. And honestly? If I was to wrap up a description of my ideal couple, it would be these guys. Laid back, fun loving, suuuuper in love people who are not afraid to show it. And people who appreciate art over anything else with their photography.

When I met with Kayla and Ian, I remember them telling me they loved black n white photography (score) and also wanted candids more than anything else (double score). They told me too they had full trust in my work and wanted me to be able to just create and that gave me a refreshing freedom amongst the craziest time of year for me.

And because of that, I can honestly say some of these images are the most authentic and raw images I've ever taken. And they are ones I hope to create at every single wedding in the future.

So, without further ado, press play and enjoy these <3

Amy and Mitch had the most beautiful, intimate wedding in the woods of Benham's Grove in Dayton. And I just love how personal their wedding really was! Amy's Mom, Lori, made all the desserts herself. A long time family friend was their DJ. With their smaller guest count, dinner was set up more like a restaurant and it was literally some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding! (Details for them at the end of the post!!)

But what was most important is how genuine Amy and Mitch's love really is for each other. And it was such a pleasure to document their wedding story. Because it's not often I come across people who are so openly in love. And so comfortable in it. When Mitch saw Amy during their first look, he had instant tears of joy and it was hard not to tear up myself!! You can tell these two were made for each other and genuinely love each other with a kind that will last the years.

Grab some tissues, press play, and let the photos do the rest of the talkin <3

These two beautiful people had their amazing wedding day back in August last year and it was such a whirlwind of a day! We got so many amazing photos that you'd never know it was nearly 100 degrees out. And Kaytlin and Tyler were willing to do just about anything for some awesome photos which is honestly my absolute favorite thing!

Their wedding was in Covington, KY at the incredibly beautiful St Mary's Church and their reception held at Receptions in Erlanger. We made a stop by Smale Riverfront Park for their first look and all the formal photographs and took advantage of the shade under the trees of the summer sun. I have to admit these photos are some of my favorites I took in 2017 and I've been eager to get this blog up and shared to you all!!

Congrats to you Kaytlin + Tyler once again for being such beautiful and inspiring people <3

Press play and enjoy these goodies :)

Also, to end this post, here is their wedding film by Colin Merritt Wedding Films! It was my first time working with Colin and I thought he did such an amazing job and he was so easy to work alongside with. See for yourself if you want a little extra wedding goodness for your day!
