"The world is indeed full of peril
and in it there are many dark places.
But still there is much that is fair.
And though, in all lands, love is now
mingled with grief, it still grows
perhaps the greater."
Lord of the Rings
This week kicks off the start to my new 52 weeks project! If you are unfamiliar with what that is, it's where you take one photo every week for a whole year centered around some sort of theme. And my theme is going to be self portraiture.
Today's photo is all about embracing adventure, spontaneity, and exploration - because I really had to do all of those things to make this shot happen! I headed down to California Woods Nature Preserve in Cincinnati before my shoot yesterday and took some time to get some personal work done. I only had about an hour to spare in my day to find a location in the park, make a shot happen, and video as much as I could before I had to be at my client shoot.
Speaking of video, I want to create a behind the scenes for each week breaking down the how to's and the process behind each photo in a quick video diary (and also to practice my video editing skills).
