Last summer I decided to embrace some very rare spontaneity, jumped in the car, and chased after a beautiful summer sunrise. When I was packing up my stuff and getting ready to head to the gym at 5:45 am, I peaked out the window and saw a BEAUTIFUL rolling fog and I just knew it had to be photographed.
So, instead of going to the gym, I drove along country roads taking photos as I went along and it reminded me of my early days of doing photography - when I shot for just me! And what glorious days those were. It's rare I get a chance to do this sort of thing in recent years due to me working a full time job while also working my photography business full time (happy to say I'm out of that mess now!) And due to my extreme busy wedding season, I am just now getting a chance to blog these wonderful photos left collecting digital dust on my hard drive.
Press play - this is one of the songs playing from my car during my little summer adventure.
